Sidefari: A Companion Web Browser for Safari
Sidefari is a simple web browser designed to accompany Safari on your iPhone. It utilizes the Safari View Controller feature in iOS to provide a mini version of Safari with similar functionalities, including content blockers.
For users on iOS 10.2 and newer, Sidefari offers the "Open Modally in Safari" extension. This allows you to bring a Safari-based window within other apps that support sharing website URLs. This feature can be useful if you prefer the convenience of having certain Safari features within the same app or if you have privacy concerns and prefer not to use custom web browsers offered by some apps.
On iOS 9, Sidefari provides an additional Safari-based browser on the side of your screen when using multi-tasking on an iPad. This enables you to have two websites open simultaneously on the same screen. Please note that this feature is only compatible with iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, iPad Pro, or newer models.
